| Gary Groves | Gary Groves graduated college with a degree in economics, with which he invested in banking, real estate, and the oil and gas industry. Involved with many community organizations throughout the years, he is currently an active member of the Hidalgo County GOP. |
| Oscar Rosa | Oscar Rosa has been a licensed pharmacist for over thirty years and a successful independent pharmacy owner for the last eighteen. He graduated from Edcouch-Elsa High School in 1985 and continued on to A&M, UTSA, and the University of Houston, where he graduated from the College of Pharmacy with honors in 1992. He earned his Master’s Degree in Theology from the Augustine Institute in Denver in 2020. He has been married to Cynthia Rosa for 29 years and together they have five children. A strong Pro-Family and Pro-Life Catholic, he has taught Catechism/RCIA for over 16 years at Catholic Parishes. He has been involved with many community and charitable organizations, including the Knights of Columbus, the Boy Scouts of America, the Knights of Columbus, and Camp Perry Winter Camp. He served as a volunteer fire fighter in Elsa and has mentored many pharmacy students. |

Dr Guerra graduated from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Pan American University and St. Anthony’s Jr. Seminary. | Norma Saldana | Raised in Edinburg, Norma L. Saldana spent the summers of her youth in the fields of West Texas as a migrant worker, laying the foundation for a strong work ethic. Norma founded S&S Enterprises and has over 25 years of experience in international sales and logistics. She is a strong advocate for children and veterans, a proponent of voter integrity, and has testified before the Transportation Committee against the Texas DOT Toll Road Project. She and her husband have raised four sons and one daughter, and have a grandson with whom they love spending time. |
| Robert Cantu | Robert Cantu was born and raised in McAllen, Texas. He graduated from McAllen High School in 1984 and attended the University of Texas-Pan American. He later attended law school at Thurgood Marshall School of Law and has been a practicing attorney for over 20 years. He is currently the Parliamentarian of the Hidalgo County Republican Party. He is married to Lisa Cantu and he has strong conservative values and is Pro-Life and Pro-Family. He has been involved in many community and charitable organizations such as the Knights of Columbus and has volunteered at the Food Bank. |
